General Membership Meeting
Second Tuesday of Every Month at the

AMERICAN POLISH CULTURAL CENTER
2975 East Maple Rd. (15 Mile Rd.)Troy, MI 48083.
On the North West corner of 15 Mile Rd and Dequindre Rd.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Dancing will begin at 7:30 pm
with a short meeting at 9:00 pm
followed by the 50/50 drawing,
then back to dancing and socializing until 11:00 pm.

Background Information:

Somerset Singles Social, Ski & Golf Club is excited to have celebrated our 30th Anniversary in the year 2007!  Even more importantly, we are privileged to still have a few of the charter members on our roster!

All of our members are active singles, over the age of 45.  Our members participate in a wide range of activities including our monthly members' meetings, social events, meet and greets and, of course, our very popular ski and golf outings.

The annual membership fee of $40 provides discounted access to all of our events and is renewable on your anniversary month of your original application.  Members pay a nominal fee of $6.00 to attend membership meetings, while guests pay $9.00.  Please note: the fees for our social events may vary depending on the event.

A membership directory is mailed out to all members on an annual basis.  Our newsletter, published monthly, contains the essentials for upcoming events, general member news, as well as articles featuring previously held member functions.

Activities:

Ski, golf and social programs are the core events of the club.  We have week long ski trips to exciting locations such as Breckenridge, Jackson Hole and Crested Butte, as well as weekend and mid-week trips to thrilling destinations in Northern Michigan and local weekly outings.

Our golf program includes golf at various local metro area courses on Sundays and some weekdays.  We have weekend outings once a month, from June thru September, to locales such as Boyne, Garland and Gaylord.

There are myriad of social activities to enjoy as a member.  Some of our most popular social activities include: bowling, attending the theatre, baseball games, our annual picnic, Christmas Dance and Party, feather bowling, card parties, Bocce Ball, Super Bowl party and the monthly Meet N’ Greets at local area restaurants.

We also hold a minimum of one charitable event per year.  In the past, we have sponsored Muscular Dystrophy, Toys for Tots and a fun-filled “White Elephant” sale with all proceeds going to the Baldwin Center in Pontiac.

If you enjoy skiing, golfing or socializing, Somerset Singles Social, Ski & Golf Club, is the club for you.  We pride ourselves on our longevity and in being one of the finest and friendliest clubs around.  Friendships made with members of the club can turn into friendships that will last forever.
